Flooded House Clean-up: Protection from Hazards (video 1 of 5)

Flood water contains sewage, pathogens and other chemicals which are health hazards and mold infestation, which is normally present in flooded homes, is a proven health hazard. Therefore, it is imperative to wear a respirator/mask, goggles, gloves and other protective equipment. Air cleaners, including units that produce ozone, and hydroxyl and ultraviolet units are not effective at controlling mold in flooded homes.
